Getting ready to roll

Today we are getting ready to go on our long awaited trip to the East of Australia where we will catch up on old friends, maybe even discovering lost relatives. We, Wendy and Michael are newly retired and we will be taking our camper van to visit many different places. Starting at home in Guilderton in Western Australia we will go to Kalgoorlie for a motorhome rally where we are volunteers helping out with the marshalling of arriving campers from all over, other jobs will be found probably. The trip from home should take three days, at about 700kms it will take us from the Indian Ocean through the Wheatbelt into semi desert and the Eastern goldfields. Today Sunday we are packing and unpacking to make ready, tomorrow we hope to be nearer and we'll let you know what's occuring.
